The increased price for semi-synthetic is often an investment toward enhanced lubrication and extended engine life>. Semi-synthetic oil needs to be changed every 5,000 to 7,500 miles.

Synthetic Oil Change

This oil is made by the hands of chemical engineers via chemical synthesis inside a manufacturing facility. Synthetic oil is considered to be an automotive industry technology that is constantly researched and advanced. It does not contain any natural petroleum, which helps it last longer at peak viscosity compared to the petroleum-based alternatives. Engines running on full-synthetic oil need to change it every 7,500 to 10,000 miles.
