This type of oil is unnatural and manufactured without using petroleum via chemical engineering in a production facility. It’s original design is to provide enhanced lubrication and resistance of sludge formation beyond petroleum-based conventional oil. It continues to be an automotive industry technology that delivers an oil change interval between 7,500 and 10,000 miles.
We offer synthetic blend oil changes mostly for vehicles that have accumulated some miles and have switched from conventional due to the added protection that advanced viscosity delivers to older engines with higher miles.

If an oil change is due at 10,000 miles and you have driven more than 10,000, that is an extended oil change. Driving past a recommended oil change is a problem because the motor oil has broken down and is offering poor lubrication that will increase friction, heat, and overall wear and tear. Given the importance of keeping the engine nicely lubricated, we never recommend extended oil changes.

We drain the oil from the engine, inspect the engine for leaking oil, lubricate fittings, and install the motor oil and oil filter to specifications.
