Volkswagen Shines At Chicago Auto Show
The future of Volkswagen cars, as seen at the Chicago Auto Show this week, looks like a lot of fun. Of course, if you are looking to have some fun on four wheels today, you should make the quick trip out to the Bill Jacobs Volkswagen dealership and lot in Naperville, your home-away-from-home for all things VW. From great deals on new and pre-owned Volkswagen models to the factory-authorized service and genuine Volkswagen parts, the Bill Jacobs VW dealership is ready to handle all your Volkswagen needs, now and in the future. And as far as the future goes, be on the lookout for gems like a new edition of the Jetta and the VW Beetle.
According to Sergiu Tudose at CarScoops, the new Jetta Momo Edition is turning heads at the Chicago Auto Show. The all-new edition features two Momo touring bikes on the roof, perhaps the most prominent of many tweaks to the Jetta design. Tudose goes on to point out the Jetta features include 19″ Momo alloys on the wheels, a lowered ride height, cat-back exhaust system, H&R coil-overs and four-piston Brembo calipers, to name a few. Inside, it features a limited edition MOMO GT50 Anniversario steering wheel and matching ‘Momo’ headrests. Plus, the Momo Edition includes a small display that relays information like turbo boost, exhaust gas temp, coolant temp, throttle position, speed and a 0-60 timer.
In a separate piece for CarScoops, Tudose reports on two new packages for the VW Beetle: the Dune and Denim Cabrio. “Both editions are powered by a 1.8-liter TSI petrol engine, good for 172 PS and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque” reports Tudose, who also praises the Dune for its “its off-road cladding that’s supposed to hark back to the Baja Bugs of the 1960s.”
